Guide

Gadget: Weekend WarriorArea damage + 5 seconds of bonus main attack damage = burst potential. This gives Jae-Yong a major edge in duels and lets him melt grouped enemies when paired with Extra High Note. Can also clear bushes, break stalemates, or force enemies off a zone/gem/safe.Star Power: Extra High Note+20% damage per enemy pierced? Yes please.Encourages aggressive positioning and rewards smart aim.In 3v3, piercing 2–3 targets can boost his damage way beyond average, letting you shred through clumped teams.Has value even in casual due to the consistent extra damage.Gears:Damage Gear – Scales with both Weekend Warrior and Extra High Note. One of the best picks for carrying.Speed Gear – Makes him nearly uncatchable in bushes + synergizes with his slipstreams and Crowd Goes Mild (if ever swapped in).Optional Gear: Gadget Cooldown - Makes Weekend Warrior even more spammable, allowing for more consistent AoE and line-up punishing.Playstyle Tips for Carrying:Open in Work Mode to poke and control space with slipstreams. The speed helps you kite or dodge.Switch to Party Mode when teammates are pushing in or after you get the upper hand — throw out heals while still dealing decent piercing damage.Weekend Warrior + Extra High Note = death combo — use it to burst a squishy brawler like Piper, Bea, or even assassins like Edgar before they can close the gap.Always be active with positioning. Don’t camp! Rotate, harass, and scout constantly. You're fast and flexible, abuse that.Game Modes This Build Excels In:Gem Grab (carry center or support sides)Hot Zone (amazing with speed + piercing control)Knockout (can clutch fights with combos)Bounty (great poke and chase)Brawl Ball (punishes clusters, fast enough to retrieve and pass)Additional notes: Work mode is auto-aim friendly but party mode requires manual main as auto aim will not throw towards allies, only enemies or in a random direction if an enemy is out of range.Super charges EXTREMLY fast so abuse the fact that you can easily and quickly swap in and out of your modes, plus when swapping you will create an AoE circle that either speeds up you and nearby allies or does a decent sized burst healing to you and nearby allies.Slipstream allows you to run to cover or dodge slow moving projectiles very easily, it also can help slower allies (like tanks) reach enemy brawlers or objectives a lot quicker.

Game Modes

Gem Grab

Gem Grab

Can carry center lane or support from the sides, is not the best gem carrier but is extremely useful at getting the gem carrier out of bad positions

Hot Zone

Hot Zone

Speed + Piercing, weekend warrior punishes anyone who tries to dive in and or if enemy team tries to push in grouped together

Bounty

Bounty

Squishy but has great poke and chase potential, especially when using speed gear and utilizing bushes

Brawl Ball

Brawl Ball

Is basically a rusher, with his fast movement speed and slipstreams increasing movement speed, he can fly across the map while dribbling the ball to keep his slipstreams up. Not great for goal defense/offense but is great at supporting tanks or catching enemies who stole the ball.

Works Well With

Buster

Buster

Why it works: Jae-Yong's speed boosts help Buster get in range, and the healing from Party Mode lets Buster stay alive longer while using his shield or gadget.Mode synergy: Brawl Ball, Hot Zone, Gem Grab.Combo tip: Speed Buster in > switch to Party Mode > heal mid-fight.

Nita

Nita

Why it works: Slipstreams let Nita chase or kite. Her bear + Jae-Yong’s piercing heals makes for nasty control in Hot Zone or Gem Grab.Mode synergy: Hot Zone, Gem Grab.Combo tip: Heal both Nita and the bear in Party Mode for double pressure.

Sam

Sam

Why it works: Sam wants to brawl up close. Jae-Yong speeds him into fights and heals him mid-combo, helping Sam chain Supers and gadget plays.Mode synergy: Knockout, Gem Grab, Brawl Ball.Combo tip: Keep Jae-Yong behind Sam to constantly boost and patch him up.

Stu

Stu

Why it works: Both are incredibly fast. Jae-Yong’s slipstreams + Stu dashes = hyper-aggressive plays and map domination.Mode synergy: Gem Grab, Bounty, Brawl Ball.Combo tip: Coordinate dive-ins—Jae-Yong slows or heals, Stu cleans up.
